My Mission
My mission as a Life Coach is to empower and inspire you to live a life that is authentic, fulfilling, and aligned with your values. I believe that you have the potential to create positive change in your life, and I am here to support you on your journey toward personal growth and transformation.
I believe that life is lived from the inside out. Inside YOU, within your True Self is the image of the One who created you. My goal is to help you discover, and live from, that True Self. Inner Healing Integration is the simple and effective method I use in my practice. It is as it sounds, a journey toward your wholeness: toward healing, transformation, and integration.
I can be the Soul Companion on your journey as you uncover lies you have believed about yourself and discover that who you truly are just might be more than you ever dared to imagine.
My Education
I have been a Certified Life Coach since 2010. In 2020, after completing a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Counseling, I discovered Imago Dei Ministries and began training with them in Inner Healing Integration, I also studied Imagery and the Enneagram. Since introducing this model into my practice, it has proven itself time and again. It is my joy to walk with you through healing, transformation, and integration.
About Me
I am a wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoys being in nature, reading, music, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends. Somewhere along the way, I discovered a passion for walking with people through the dark times in their lives. I think my experience with those who have done the same with me engendered that desire.
As a child, I was raised in an Evangelical Church. In my early teens, my parents and I moved to another state to be a part of an Independent Fundamental Baptist Ministry. By the time I was married at 18 years old, I was fully ingrained in a religious system that always limited Grace in favor of judgment and based my relationship with God completely on my behavior. Years of living within those false ideas flavored every aspect of my life - marriage, parenting, family, friends, career, etc.
I was certain that I was "right".
My deconstruction journey began in 2001 when my husband and I realized we were burned out in ministry. At that time, we went for counseling where I first had my eyes opened to the idea that there might be a different perspective than the one to which I had given my life.
My worldview had been shaped through the lens of my religion for 40 years and the deconstructing of my faith began with that different perspective. Recognizing false beliefs, spiritual abuse, and spiritual trauma and then unlearning the teachings of a lifetime has not been easy. Reconstructing a faith that is consistent with unconditional Love has taken many years but it has been a journey worth taking.
In 2020, when I discovered Imago Dei Ministries and began training with them, I had finally found my community. Here was the embodiment of all I had been learning. This cohesive truth changed everything. It changed the way I saw myself and the way I saw every other person. Really knowing that the image of God is within all of us from our very beginning, and is never lost allowed me to face my shame and pain head-on. Only then could I experience living from wholeness instead of (imagined) separation. Living from integration allowed me to find that the answers for life were within me. I could trust myself, my TRUE SELF.
